i want a good antivirus software that is great at taking on viruses.

Microsoft security essentials- good as freeware
Panda globalization- very good but which one is the best version
is doesnt matter if it is free or not i dont really care
mostly if you cant really give me a good antivirus then could you find out whfree panda antivirus softwareich panda antivirus is best?
I've always liked ZoneAlarm's internet security suite. It has antivirus/antispyware/firewall all rolled into one package and it isn't a system hog like Norton is.

My Avira Free Edition works fine. But you have to read
everything, unless you want to just used default option.
You will get a screen size prompt to buy every time the program
updatfree panda antivirus softwarees. But I don't find it as irritating as some pop-ups I have seen
with other programs.

best free antivirus is AVIRA there is no one close to avira it is simply the best. And if you want to try out oaid ones then go for kaspersky antivirus it is the best
I have always found AVG to be best but it does cause compromises with other anti virus and firewalls
