lg android usb device driver downloadNeed help with downloading music on my LG Optimus T!?
I want to download music on my LG Optimus T. I plug it in to my computer, and heres what happens:
A little speech bubble pops up in the lower right hand corner of my screen that says "Installing driver software. Click here for status."
Then, a new window opens. It has the heading: "Windows needs to install driver software for your LG Android USB Device". It gives me three options:
1. Locate and install driver software (recommended)
Windows will guide you through the process of installing driver software for your device.
2. Ask me again later
Windows will ask again the next time you plug in your device or log on.
3. Don't show this message again for this device.
Your device will not function until you install driver software.
I click on the recommended option, or option one. I give it permission to continue. Then, a new window comes up with the heading: &qlg android usb device driver downloaduot;Installing driver software". It has a progress bar, showing the progress. Underneath the progress bar, it says:
(<--------------------------PROGRESS BAR IS HERE.---------------------------->)
"LG Andriod USB Device Searching Windows Update..."
Then, a new window appears, with the heading: "Insert the disc that came with your LG Android USB Device". Underneath, it says "If you have the disc that came with your device, insert it now. Windows will automatically search the disc for driver software." Underneath that, there is an option that says: "I don't have the disc. Show me other options". Since I don't have any type of disc, I click on that. It gives me 2 options. 1. Check for a solution: Windows will check to see if there are steps you can take to get your device working. -or- 2. Browse my computer for driver software (advanced): Locate and ilg android usb device driver downloadnstall driver software manually. I choose the first option: check for a solution. It tells me that "Windows was unable to install your LG Android USB Device"...
I'm really confused. I don't know what to do next. In the user's manual, it tells me that when I plug in my phone, in the notification drawer, it should say, "USB Connected". When I plug my phone in, it never says that. I can't click on it if it never shows up, right?! I've tried tons of different things to try to get this to work, and it doesn't.
What am I doing wrong? What can I do to fix it? Is there driver software I can purchase somewhere?

There is probably some adware/spyware or virus that is running on the system, and it will not show up under Add/Remove programs by virtue of how they get on the system in the first place.
Even for experts, it is very time-consuming to locate exactly where the issue is, and even if located, it's impossible to be sure that you've completely removed it. As it only takes a couple hours to perform backups and reinstall the OS, thus giving you a clean slate, that's the recommend methodology.
As for what's causing the slowdown -- if it almost freezes up, it means that you are probably running out of RAM (random access memory, not to be confused with hard disk / storage). In that situation, your system begins swapping, or using free space on your hard disk as backup. The issue is that your hard disk is 1000 times slower, which results in the system seizing up.
As for how much hard disk storage space is used -- contrary to popular belifree limewire software download 4.9ef, using too much of it doesn't slow the computer down. It's one of those things where you either have enough or don't have enough. If you have enough, your computer runs fine, and if not, things fail catastrophically. In your case, you have a 80GB HDD, 13GB of which is used. This is fine.

Celeron CPU's are really bad so dont expect a fast computer.

Ferrets are bundles of energy so they love lots of active play! Making toys is easy, cheap and satisfying so here are a few things you could try....
1. The basic toilet roll! A finished toilet roll can provide loads of entertainment for you and your fuzzie, just chase them with it, let them run through it, connect a few together - whatever you like.
2. A plastic bag! Simple and hilarious :) they adore plastic bags to burrow through and play in, just make sure you cut theto play handles off and ALWAYS supervise closely when playing with a bag.
3. Cardboard castle! Sellotape a few empty boxes together and make holes between them. Your fuzzbutss will spend hours exploring and you can change it every few days to make it even more interesting! Just add balls of scrunched up paper, or balls of paper hanging from string, or even a few toilet rolls.
4. Old items of clothing are great, and they especially love socks! You can also play with old t-shirts, blankets, trousers, blankets etc.
ferrets love playing with you, so get on the floor, chase them around and provide them with lots of toys (homemade are just as good as boughtto play ones!).
Remember that they need at least 2 - 3 hours of active play every day to stay healthy and to prevent boredom (which can cause behavioural issues e.g. biting). Constantly talk to them and handle them to make their day :) and if the jump around and make the noise 'dookdook!' they are having loads of fun.

I recently had limewire. Now I am using Bearshare and want to be able to download in mp3 format like I used to, but Bearshare only is downloading in wma format, do you know how to switch this or can't I?

I am using BitTorrent and there is not upload speed registering. This means I cannot complete a download. Is there something I need to change in the settings?
If you're behind a router, or if your bittorrentmodem does network address translation, you have to forward the torrent port to your computer. (You can't use both a modem doing network address translation AND a router doing network address translbittorrentation.)
You may find there are no seeders on the torrent you are on and that is why you are not able to finish the torrent. If your using a private tracker you may want to request a reseed.

avg anti virus free editionHow do I remove AVG Free Edition Anti
The program will not run. Each time I start my PC a window pops up with this message "Could not initialize AVG Anti-Virus Kernel Interface. Application cannot run".
When I try to uninstall the program I get this message: "Installation failure. Error: Initialization of the language file "C\Program Files\Grisoft\Avg Free" failed. General failure". As a result of the installation not being completed I cannot uninstall it but neither can I try to reinstall it, or another anti-virus program. Also, I am not regsitered with AVG to post a help topic on its site.
AVG refuses to help because it is the free edition. I've been told my only option is to install a new hard disk and transfer all my programs to it and use a real anti-virus program.
Is there a practical solution to my dilemma?

When going through the install process set it to 'Repair' install and it if AVG works then you can either leave it or un-install it. Good Luck!

My only solution now is to have a new hard disk installed and transfer only the data I need for my existing computer to the new hard disk. And, also, to stay away from AVG products.

When the uninstall didn't work correctly, you were left with a registry entry that has the permissions set wrong. You need to correct this so you can continue.
Run REGEDT32 and navigate to the following key...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\…
Right click on the key name in the left window, savg anti virus free editionelect Permissions from the options. Give your username and the Administrators full permissions and apply, when it asks if you want to apply the same permissions for subkeys.. say yes.
If the Administrator or your username is missing, under the Groups or user names area....
1. Click the Add button...
2. Type Administrators...
3. Click the Check Names button...
4. Click the Ok button...
5. Highlight Administrators...
6. Place a checkmark in Full Control...
7. Click the Apply button... if it asks to apply it to subkeys... select Yes.

Search for and delete all folders and files that AVG created.Some may be undeletable at this point, as they were lockedduring boot. Reboot, and run a registry cleaner. If you are using a manual one,read the instructions and help carefully first. The automated ones will find a load of useless stuff unrelated to AVG - it's OK to clean that out, too.
Reboot, go to command line and run regedit. In regedit, search for avg*, and delete all references that you find. Just delete the keys that start with avg, don't bother with any other keys that may be associated with those. Most of them will be in the Software section of the registry. Don't delete anything else, no matter how tempting
Reboot. You should now be able to delete all remaining files and folders created by AVG install.
Reboot, and run the registry cleaner again.
You should now have a clean machine, or as clean as the registry cleaner could make it.
Reboot, and reinstall using another download of AVG
start your pc in safe mode and then try to uninstall it from add and remove programmes

Unfortunately, the only way to know if you are buying a legal product is to see some kind of proof that the distrubtor has the legal right to sell the software. Some sort of distribution/licensing agreement. Why not send an email and ask for proof that the product is legit? It would be the safe play for your legal concerns.

I sent my computer to get fixed and everything in it got deleted. My ipod still has my music in it, I'd like to keep that music but I also want to transfer new music from my laptop. The itunes that I have now has none of the music that I currently have on my ipod... How can I do this without the music in my ipod being deleted?

I imagine you mean fps games with single-player modes? Yes, you're in luck, I know all the best ones. These mostly have online multiplayer also, but you can do single player too.
There are a few that are only single-player, I'll list what I can think of.
Open Arena: this is Quake3. It's a free, open-source version. You can play on quake servers but you can also fight against bots on your own computer.
Sauerbraten: There are lots of single-player maps on this one, because it's easy for users to create them. You have a virtual map editor, you can just go into edit mode and fly around and build the terrain, weapons, powerups, monsters, objects, water, walls, etc.
AssaultCube: similar to Sauerbraten, different single-player maps.
Cube: the two previous oonline games freewarenes are based on this one, again you may as well look cause its maps are different.
Marathon: AlephOne - this one is a bit old and may not impress you but it's better than Doom, so maybe it'll be interesting. It has to be compiled from source. If you don't know how to do that, it's a great opportunity to learn a new skill. There's also Marathon 2 and one other title.
Quake 2: Why bother with Quake2 when Open Arena already is a clone of quake 3? because there's lots of single-player mods for quake2 engine. In fact it's the most-used fps engine for open-source games, except maybe the Unreal engine. For that matter there's lots of open-source single-player Doom content, but I figure you don't want anything that old.
The Hunted: This one is single-player only, in case you're a kid whose parenonline games freewarets won't let them have an online-capable game. It's a horror shooter though.
Transfusion: on the same engine as The Hunted, also a single-player only game.
If you can get ahold of the unreal engine, which supposedly is open-source now, there are a lot of good single-player mods for it, including America's Army, which is mostly online though you can go through training in singleplayer.

Basically, I start the game, I am at the part called "Master and the Molotov" so it starts up on Steam and you know the Rockstar R comes up and then it goes to the menu where I select Play and then select Play again. Then it goes through the character portraits but it takes forever, after that the music stops, that cuts off and it goes to the following loading screen, the one that spawns you in the safehouse. However, for me, this loading screen starts loading very fast (the glimmer mark starts going VERY quickly through the glimmer pc gamewords) and it does that for 10's of minutes and then crashes. I reinstalled the game and it worked the first time, and none after that. I have had it work before that and I tried one unlucky day and couldn't fix the problem. One other time it worked because it was lagging and I pressed the play button probably about 15 times, then it loaded but during the slideshow the song played over itself about two more times (probably because of me maching-gunning the mouse button.) But then it loaded, however, once I got on, I realized a mod I instalglimmer pc gameled didnt work. Could this be the mod? I am playing GTA4 with the 1.0.7.0 patch. I also have a big vehicle pack installed which probably doesnt affect anything. However, the mod I wanted to play is called LCPD First Response, I will not explain here but could that be it? Its not a matter of my graphics because I have run the game already, Alt-Tab doesnt do anything, and neither does waiting... HELP? PLEASE! First method to work gets 10 points and bragging rights :DD Thanks

I have bought OEM software in the past and been happy with it. The discount for the particular product you mentioned seems steep (so I would be highly suspicious). Is this a respectable company? Unfortunately, the only way to know if you are buying a legal product is to see some kind of proof that the distrubtor has the legal right to sell the software. Some sort of distribution/licensing agreement. Why not send an email and ask for proof that the product is legit? It would be the safe play for your legal concerns.
