power to the people locationsCan people think of geographical locations around the world that has a similar description to the following?

- undeveloped ground that is 2 km. from a highway and 5 km. from any
developed (residential/industrial) area

- I am looking to research these examples to find up-to-date information on energy use, waste management, government regulation, etc.

Please note the locations do not need to be specified at 2 and 5km, but somewhere along those distances would be great.

ALSO, if anpower to the people locationsyone can think of locations that were once undeveloped land fitting description that became a power plant of any sorts - that will also be very helpful information.

Thanks.
If you contact the Bureau of Land Management, you can probably get a ton of such sites plotted on a map. This is limited to the United States, though -- and judging by your use of "kilometers", I power to the people locationssuspect you're looking for other areas.

As for info about undeveloped land becoming power plant, you'd want to look into solar farms and wind farms:

National Parks.
Military Operations Areas.
Indian Reservations.

most power plants are built on once underdeveloped land. you'll be hard pressed to find one more than 2km from a highway, though.
